Born of Battle

Our founder Jack Englishman, 1st Duke of Earl, won the lot where our fine pub now stands, betting on the outcome of the Battle of Waterloo. Greatly missing the food and drink of home, and being the industrious sort, he sought out to build himself a pub.

Many decades...err centuries later, here we are, proudly serving the finest English food and drink to people from all over the world.

We serve a blend of traditional English pub fare and North American pub classics. Take a gander at our menu to find what meets your fancy. We'll whip it up faster than you can sing GOD SAVE THE QUEEN...backwards.
